Some old photos i took during my Poly days. A visit to the ARIES, this nice apartment off Yan Kit Road, Tanjong Pagar. Designed by Mok Wei Wei, it is actually a twin version of the PATERSON EDGE @ PATERSON ROAD.
The feature of this design is the rooftop swimming pool. Perhaps one of the first few buildings to have rooftop pools. Built before 2003, the idea was new then.
Did some arrangement to these photos and paste them onto some grey boards. But thinking where to put it....
on my drafting table, for the time being.... .... .... ....
Went own IKEA to look for a cabinet for my collection of architecture books and design magazines. And i did not know that the IKEA team ( or maybe the customers ) can be so creative and funny. I saw the display in the lobby area, i thought it was funny.... but going up to the children's section, it's the same layout.
This is what i saw and i thought it's cute... but the cuter one is actually at the back of it...
