I never felt kinda weird when i was flipping through the Papers on Friday.
It says,
"TEACH STUDENT HOW TO 'PAK TOR' AS CCA, SAY MP"
What will be our first feeling? We might be thinking that " Hey it sound familiar... ". Or the wordless grasp that echoed within your brain?
To be nicely put, it's called the friendship club. Does it still makes any differences?
I had mixed feeling about this proposal. I am not sure whether should i rejoice? Or should i be just objecting. But i think it's best that i should carry on reading my FLYBOYS and shut the article aside.
Reflecting back to my schooling days, dating for me is a taboo till i graduated from Secondary school, when i starting to date seriously and openly. Puppy Love back then was just a pastime to me. Never got hurt in break-ups or going to extend of just a peck on the cheeks of blushing girls. THose traditional concepts by our parents were good remedy, but we still kinda defiant.
I remembered my mum's consistent nagging about me dating young. THose words like, " ... aH bOy, mAkE fRiEnDs hor!!.. don't get into trouble!... or else you regret...! "
Often i choose to ignore part of them. I carried going out with girls on date. But they won't last long, as expected. Studies is first, i always thought of that. No money, how to date?..HAHA...
Suddenly, two words struck me...
MAKE FRIENDS??
THe thought of this two words makes me go back to the article again. Reading further, it clearly stated that it aims to help widen the student's social circle and help nurture mature relationships and building responsibilities. BUt does it really works?
I am a teenage student before and i fully unerstand the curiousity that filled my heart at times. Once you start to have a date, sex definitely will come to your mind. As a young age, we tend to wanting to behave like adults. Extreme Pre-martial relationships will occur. ( that's no wonder why MP say to boost birth rates from here... ) Many ill problems will soon surfaced.
Was sharing with JEner that there is no fool-proof ideas. Loopholes will always be there.
Am wondering what happened to our education system?... Radical changes help? A bit extreme... i guess...
